Acer Group Holdings Limited was incorporated in the Cayman Islands in October 2014. We operate our business through our operating subsidiaries, namely Acer Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., CITIC Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd., Acer Machinery Co., Ltd., and Acer (Macau) Foundation Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. Hongji Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. Acer Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. was incorporated in Hong Kong in May 1995 as a limited company. Acer Engineering is engaged in foundation engineering, mainly including the construction of socket I-beams, miniature piles, vertical piles, pipe piles and lifting columns. It is our main business and we generally act as a subcontractor or sub-subcontractor. Piles are constructed on the ground through pre-drilled holes extending to the bedrock or designed depth through cast steel piles. Since boreholes generally vibrate less, borehole piles are non-impact-type in nature. Therefore, it causes less interference to the surroundings. Steel piles used for drilling piles can generally be classified as I-shaped piles (or I-shaped steel columns) and miniature piles (or steel bars). Piles can be used to provide lateral support for excavation projects, build piling foundations, and replace supports. CITIC Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd. CITIC Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd. was incorporated in Hong Kong in December 1995 as a limited company. CITIC Drilling undertakes on-site land survey projects and generally acts as the general contractor. As far as new construction projects are concerned, the goal of land surveying is to obtain reliable data so as to make economical and safe designs and meet tender and construction requirements. In Hong Kong, due to the rapid development of the city, it is necessary to investigate the impact of new projects on construction and engineering. Generally speaking, on-site exploration works are carried out by extracting soil and/or rock samples from various parts of the site and at different depths. The subcontractor will perform laboratory tests on the collected samples and prepare a land survey report.
