Ctrip Group (09961.HK) released the "2024 Sustainable Tourism Consumer Report", based on data from 1,056 survey respondents from Hong Kong and Macau. The data shows that up to 91% of travelers consider choosing sustainable tourism products, but only about 58% have actually purchased or used them. Among respondents who did not consider such products, some indicated a lack of understanding or skepticism about the authenticity of sustainable tourism products, highlighting the importance of consumer education and transparent information. The results show that only about 47% of respondents in Hong Kong and Macau are willing to pay more for sustainable tourism products, but limited to 5% to 1.
