China Environmental Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Environmental Technology” or the “Group”, stock code: 00646) focuses on environmental protection services related to water quality environmental management and the integration of technology, products, equipment and systems related to water treatment in China. In April 2010, the Group announced the acquisition of “Fanhe (Beijing) Water Investment Management Co., Ltd.”, and in November 2010, the Group acquired Beijing Jingruikemai Water Purification Technology Co., Ltd., which has patented water purification technology, marking the company's official entry into the mainland sewage treatment business and the development of the environmental technology industry. In November 2011, the Group and Capital (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital Co., Ltd. (“Capital”)) established a wholly foreign-owned enterprise called Beijing Shouqiang Innovation Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (“Beijing Shouqiang”). Beijing Shouqiang will invest and operate urban environmental protection projects, sell and provide special environmental protection equipment, technology promotion and consulting services related to the group's magnetic separation mobile water treatment equipment. With the Group's advanced magnetic separation water treatment technology, the Group obtained the “Invention Patent Certificate” issued by the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China and the “High-tech Enterprise Certificate” issued by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission in 2012, respectively. China Environmental Technology Holdings Limited was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on August 31, 2001, and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on March 28, 2002. The main shareholder of the group is Juntu International Holdings Limited. Its core shareholder, Capital (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Capital Co., Ltd. (“Beijing Capital”). Its shares are listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600008). It is currently the largest state-owned listed company in China's water industry.
