Maxell <6810> announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending in March 2025 (April-September 24). Revenue decreased by 3.8% year-on-year to 63.122 billion yen, operating profit decreased by 8.5% to 4.177 billion yen, ordinary profit decreased by 35.6% to 3.865 billion yen, and interim net profit attributable to parent company shareholders decreased by 37.5% to 3.085 billion yen. The energy segment's revenue decreased by 1.6% year-on-year to 17.674 billion yen, and operating profit increased by 677.6% to 13.22 billion yen.
